Since the programme began more than 15 years ago in London, the Spear Programme has helped more than 7,500 16-24-year-olds. 75% of those who complete the Spear Programme not only get into work, but remain there a year later.
Spear Islington was launched in June 2016.
Our vision is to transform the lives of up to 90 young people facing facing different challenges in Islington and the surrounding area each year, giving them the support, skills and confidence they need to get into work or re-enter education and begin to build a future filled with hope.
